About W. Travis Towe

Mr. Towe holds a BBA from the University of Georgia, a MBA from the Columbia University School of Business and a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law. He passed the State Bar of Georgia in 1993 and is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and Washington D.C. After a career of almost 14 years in strategy consulting and various business ventures in Russua and Africa, Mr. Towe returned to Georgia in early 2010 to begin working as a criminal defense attorney at the law firm of George C. Creal, PC.

Having honed his negotiation and trial skills at George C. Creal, PC, Mr. Towe started W. Travis Towe LLC in 2011. As an experienced criminal defense attorney, Mr. Towe devotes over 90 percent of his practice to the counties of Fulton, Dekalb, Clayton, Cobb and Gwinnett. he knows many of the judges and prosecutors in both the municipal and state courts of these counties as many of the police officers and state troopers who are dedicated to the DUI task forces in these counties. Through his relationships and experience, Mr. Towe has been able to maneuver through the court system and consistently negotiate favorable decisions for his clients. When a trial is necessary, he vigorously and aggressively fights for a favorable jury decision.

When Mr. Towe is not focused on defending his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter. Having lived nine years in Moscow, Mr. Towe and his family regularly travel to Russia and Ukraine to visit his wife’s family and close friends. They also enjoy traveling to new and exotic places, especially if a beach and palm trees can be found.
